JOHN WILDER, Trumpet

He has performed throughout the Metropolitan area with the New York Repertory Orchestra, the New Jersey Pops, the Garden State Philharmonic, the Putnam Valley Symphony Orchestra, the Sarah Lawrence Vollege Chamber Orchestra, the Plainfield Symphony, the Bergen Philharmonic Orchestra, and the Adelphi Chamber Orchestra.

As soloist, John performed Antonio Vivaldi’s Concerto for Two Trumpets with the Baroque Orchestra of Boonton and the Adelphi Chamber Orchestra.

Further, he has performed with nationally known artists such as Bobby Rydell, Johnny Maestro and the Brooklyn Bridge, the jordanaires, Joey K., Shirley Alston of the Shirelles, Sam and Dave, and Jerry Vale. John earned his Bachelor of Arts in Music at William Paterson University, and is a former student of Don Palmeiri of the Pittsburgh Symphony and John Ware of the New York Philharmonic. Mr. Wilder has taught both public and private schools and maintains a large private teaching studio. John is a native of Wayne, New Jersey and has been a resident of Edgewater, New jersey for over ten years.
